Drinking a lemon, garlic, and ginger beverage can have very positive health effects on our body. These three super healthy foods have many benefits.

– has blood thinner properties that can help maintain a healthy heart by reducing blood clots and reduce cholesterol levels, according to a report published by the University of Maryland. Ginger activates an enzyme which has shown to lower cholesterol levels.

Combination these three pungent, and potent foods with water creates a healthy drink that can lower cholesterol levels. Don’t worry the garlic. Combining lemon and water neutralizes the smell of garlic.

Drink Ingredients
  • 4 lemons with peel, preferably organic.
  • 4 large garlic heads
  • 1 small piece of ginger root approximately 1 1/4- 1 1/2 inches)
  • 2 quarts of filtered water
  • Wash the lemons and cut into pieces.
  • Peel the garlic.
  • Peel the ginger.
  • Add lemons, ginger, and garlic in a blender. Blend mixture.
  • Combine mixture with 2 quarts of of water and heat, stir frequently.
  • Turn off the heat before the mixture boils, set aside and let it cool down.
  • Strain mixture through a medium strainer and fill the liquid in glass bottle(s.)
  • Shake bottle before drinking
  • Drink one glass (4 ozs.) per day before your main meal. Drink at least 2 hours before a meal or on an empty stomach.
  • Continue this routine for 3 weeks, then stop for 8 days. Repeat for a second period, taking 3 weeks on, 8 days off.

Note: Fresh garlic may increase bleeding, so it is not recommended to anyone who is taking a blood thinner medication or who has a bleeding disorder or other medications that may have an adverse effect.
